Tuesday night at the Artesia Aquatic Center, local citizens had a chance to interact with law enforcement, fire fighters, emergency dispatchers and medical personnel during National Night Out.
There was free admission to the water park along with free pizza and snow cones.

Kids and adults enjoyed a night of swimming along with free items from the Eddy County Sheriff’s Office, the Artesia Police Department, Eddy County Fire and Rescue, Artesia Fire Department, Regional Emergency Dispatch Authority and Native Air Ambulance Medical Transport.
Introduced in 1984, National Night Out was designed to bring families, neighbors and first responders together for a night of community connection, read a Facebook post from Eddy County.
