Listen to Story

Fourth-graders from the Artesia Public Schools system listen to the sweet sounds of Motown during the annual National Dance Institute (NDI) New Mexico performance at the Artesia High School Auditorium. The fourth-graders, along with select fifth-graders and kindergartners, participate in a two-week residency each year in preparation for the grand finale, which was themed this year as “Reach Out! The Sweet Sounds of Motown.” NDI thanked the community for its 18 years of partnership on the artistic effort.
