Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 711 W. Washington Ave., will celebrate its 67th anniversary Sunday, July 30.
The church originated from a tent revival in 1950 and soon organized into a missionary Baptist church. The church has had several pastors in its 67-year history; its current pastor, Bro. Rick Smith, has been with the church 10 years.
Calvary wishes to invite all of its members, former members, and friends of the church to attend the July 30 services. A noon meal and fellowship will follow the morning message.
