Artesia Clean & Beautiful’s annual E-Waste event was a success while it lasted Friday, collecting numerous electronic items, such as those pictured above, for recycling. By Saturday afternoon, however, the event was cut short due to heavy rainfall in Artesia, pictured below dousing a stack of smartboards. AC&B director Linda Stevens says it’s the first time the event has had a rain-out.
