6-1-CavernsStampAn Official First Day of Issue Dedication Ceremony for the Carlsbad Caverns National Park stamp will be held Thursday at the park.

Carlsbad Caverns is one of 16 national parks being featured on Forever Stamps in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the National Parks Service. The stamps will be sold as a pane of 16.

Isaac S. Cronkhite, USPS vice president of enterprise analytics, Doug Neighbor, Carlsbad Caverns superintendent, and Ronda Smith, officer in charge of the Carlsbad Post Office, will be on hand for the ceremony, which is set to begin at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 2, in the Bat Flight Amphitheater at Carlsbad Caverns.
