Have you ever been to a film musical and had the uncontrollable urge to burst into song? You’ll get your chance this weekend at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center.

For anyone who’s ever wanted to know what it’s like to be a T-Bird or a Pink Lady but never quite felt cool enough to pull it off, the Artesia Arts Council is offering the chance to don those pink jackets, grease up those quiffs, and let your inhibitions go for an evening where you are the stars. And remember, GREASE is the word…

The evening begins with a vocal warmup led by the “Grease Sing-Along” host. Guests will be shown how to use their free fun packs during the film, and some appropriate heckles and accompanying actions will be suggested.

Then, just sit back and watch Danny, Sandy, and the gang while singing (and dancing!) along to the lyrics on the screen.

It couldn’t be easier… or more fun! The first rule of a sing-along is THERE ARE NO RULES! Fancy dress is strongly encouraged, as well as full audience participation

Show times are at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, and tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students. To purchase, visit www.artesiaartscouncil.com or call the OPAC box office at 746-4212.
