A funeral mass is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 28, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Jayden Sotelo of Artesia.

Sotelo passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, in the Artesia General Hospital emergency room.

Fr. Jorge Vargas will officiate at the services, with interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from noon – 5 p.m. Thursday at Terpening & Son Mortuary. A rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Grace.

Jayden was born Dec. 14, 2016, in Roswell to Luis Carlos Sotelo and Guadalupe Carrasco.

Survivors include his parents, Luis and Guadalupe; brother Angel Jordan Sotelo; grandparents Hermila and Artemio Sotelo, and Arselia Angel Chavarria; and great-grandparents Marcelia and Francisco Carrasco of Artesia, and Josefina Maynez, and Consuelo and Manuel Sotelo, all of Mexico.
