A 21-year-old Artesia man has been charged with attempted criminal sexual penetration in the second degree.
Adrian Tarin was arrested early Sunday morning after police responded to a call in the 900 block of West Ray Avenue in reference to an attempted rape.
According to the report, while en route to the location, the arresting officer noticed a man matching the description of the alleged attacker and stopped to contact him. The man was identified as Tarin.
The officer reported that he ran a warrant check on Tarin and determined he had an outstanding magistrate warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
