Lorraine Westerman, née Horn, 69, passed from this life Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at her home in Huntley, Mont., with family by her side.
She was born Sept. 2, 1946, in Mesa, Ariz., and was raised in Loco Hills and Artesia.
Lorraine was strong-willed with a great sense of humor and was an inspiration to all who knew her, as she overcame many obstacles put forth by injuries sustained in an accident.
She enjoyed hunting and fishing, reading, crocheting, and working puzzles.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Westerman, of Huntley; sons Steven Puderbaugh of Texas, and Don Puderbaugh and wife Seana, John Puderbaugh, Lonny Puderbaugh and wife Dawn, and Jerry Puderbaugh and wife Courtney, all of Montana; daughters Lori Griffin and husband Steve, and Serena Puderbaugh, both of Montana, and Terri Burr and husband Jimmy of Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Lauranne McDaniel of New Mexico and Maureen Lemke of Texas; and many cousins and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Burnie Johnson Rogers, and mother, Bernice Rogers, of Artesia.
A memorial will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, at Smith Downtown Chapel in Billings, Mont., and a celebration of life will be held in June at her favorite mountain location in Montana.
