Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Terpening & Son Chapel for Dell Ray Crouch of Abernathy, Texas.
Crouch, 73, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at his home.
Bobby Argo will officiate at the services, with interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Crouch, Randy Crouch, John Wiley, Arron Cherry, Mike Crouch and Dakota Smith. Honorary pallbearer is Perry Roberson.
Dell Ray was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Artesia, the son of Mitchell Euin and Jessie Ellen (Pope) Crouch. He was raised in Artesia and had lived in Mineral Wells, Texas, Lubbock, Texas, and Abernathy.
He was a plumber and a member of the Assembly of God. Dell Ray was an avid hunter and loved drag racing, country music, playing the mandolin, and helping people.
Survivors include daughter-in-law Dianne Ferguson of Lubbock; brothers Newel Crouch of Carlsbad and James “Nubbin” Crouch and wife Dorothy of Artesia; grandchildren Dallas Crouch, Delaney Crouch and Jacey Crouch, all of Lubbock; numerous nieces and nephews; and devoted friend Perry Roberson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Johnny Dell Crouch.
