Artesia fifth- and sixth-graders show off their moves this morning as part of the National Dance Institute (NDI) of New Mexico’s Artesia Summer Institute, a free, one-week dance workshop at Roselawn Elementary School. The program, which visits Artesia annually, is funded by the S.P. and Estelle Yates Family Foundation. The children will perform a free show for the community at 3 p.m. Friday at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center.
