The Artesia City Council will have a light agenda for its first meeting of 2018.
One public hearing is scheduled regarding the approval of a Public Participation Agreement between the City of Artesia and Chase Petroleum Service and Supply.
Following the personnel portion of the meeting and updates from department heads, the council will also consider a Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILT) Resolution with the Artesia Housing Authority before adjourning to executive session to discuss the purchase of real property.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, in Council Chambers at City Hall.
