The family of Toni Mortensen is so sorry to announce her passing on Friday, March 10, 2017.
Toni was born June 5, 1965, in Artesia. Kenneth and Mary Jane Mortensen were the proud parents of this beautiful baby.
Toni was always popular and was a cheerleader and champion swimmer. She moved to Utah in 1986. In 1997, she began working for the State of Utah and remained there until her passing. She was a very dedicated worker in her job at the State of Utah.
The highlight of Toni’s life was the birth of her daughter, Kiersten.
Toni was a strong woman and will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her.
Survivors include her daughter, Kiersten, of Santaquin, Utah; brothers Wayne, Brent and Adam Mortensen; and sisters Lola, Rita, Karla and Tammy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth, and older sister Lynn.
Heaven welcomed a beautiful person when Toni passed through the veil.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
