Since 2017, some local residents have gathered at the Artesia Public Library with crochet hooks and yarn creating blankets, quilts, and Worry Worms.
Yarn United meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the library, said Wendi Kilpatrick, adult services librarian.
“We bring our different projects and share our yarn,” she said.
