Every month, the Artesia Police Department presents a list of compiled crime statistics to the City Council. This month’s numbers, however, were a cause for alarm for the mayor and councilors alike.
There were 55 incidents of graffiti in Artesia between March and early April and a total of 154 reported incidents since January.
