The Eddy County Shooting Range Association is still seeking any information regarding its stolen archery equipment.
For the second time in three years, the ECSRA was robbed last week, with thieves this time prying open a 60-foot shipping container to remove the equipment, which is particularly utilized by the organization’s youth archery program.
Kathy Kolt of the ECSRA says a private citizen has come forward to offer a fenced, five-acre portion of his property for the group’s archery efforts; the property has one entrance and is equipped with security cameras.
“This generous offer can put us back in business,” said Kolt. “We also have a private citizen that has offered to buy us some archery equipment to get us started up again.”
Anyone with potential information regarding the stolen items is asked to contact Kolt at 425-221-7700.
