A Ford Mustang sits near Main and 11th streets Thursday following a hit-and-run accident. According to Artesia Police Department Cmdr. Lindell Smith, the driver of the Mustang collided with another vehicle after making an unlawful left turn. The driver of the second vehicle left the scene and was found a short time later. The driver of the Mustang was issued a citation for an unlawful turn, and the driver of the second vehicle was issued citations for leaving the scene, immediate notice of accidents, and driving without a license. No injuries were reported.
