A student in Becky Torrez’s child development class at Artesia High School asks Celina Bryant, director of Grammy’s House, a question this morning during a presentation at AHS. Bryant and Ana Samora, an advocate for Grammy’s House, visited Torrez’s class today as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. They spoke about the dangers of domestic violence and let students know about the services Grammy’s House has to offer. “Recognize the patterns and signs of domestic violence,” Bryant said. “Surround yourself with people who build you up and not break you down.”
